Our Commitment to Privacy

The privacy of personal information is an important principle to Shits N' Giggles. We are committed to the responsible collection, use and disclosure of personal information. To that end Shits N' Giggles has adopted the following privacy principles in order to protect the privacy of our customers.

Definition of ‘Personal Information’

Personal information as defined in the ‘Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act’ (Canada) (hereto referred to as ‘PIPA’), means information about an identifiable individual but does not include the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.

Shits N' Giggles is aware of and endeavors to remain compliant with the PIPA at all times.

Identify Purpose & Limit Use of Collection

Shits N' Giggles will identify the purpose for which personal information is collected at or before the time of collection and will limit the collection to that which is collected for a reasonable purpose. Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected except with the consent of the individual or as required by law.

Consent

The individual must have knowledge and provide consent before Shits N' Giggles will use or disclose personal information except where consent is not required by law or for security reasons.

Safeguards

Security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information will be used to protect personal information.

Web Site

Shits N' Giggles does not collect personal information from it’s web site except for information provided by you voluntarily. Information provided by you will be used for the purpose you intended only. Shits N' Giggles may ask if the information can be retained for the purpose of promotions, survey’s, etc. The web site may collect non-specific information such as statistics for the purpose of improving content.

Acquisition of Financial Account Details for Payment

Shits N' Giggles does not collect nor require financial account details related to your chosen method of payment. All payment arrangements are handled via the secure PayPal website. Financial account information is in no way transmitted to Shits N' Giggles.

Information Use by Shits N' Giggles

Shits N' Giggles maintains a mailing list of individuals who wish to be contacted about promotions, new products etc. The information in this list is governed by the PIPA and this document.  Information gathered for the purpose of promotions, mailing lists etc. will be retained by Shits N' Giggles until the individual requests its deletion or it can no longer be used for its intended purpose or as required by law.

Information Sharing by Shits N' Giggles

In the course of doing business Shits N' Giggles may share information with other companies employed to perform a variety of functions on our behalf. For example, our accountant will maintain a set of books. Also, Shits N' Giggles may be required to share information as required by law. Otherwise, Shits N' Giggles will not sell or give personal information to third parties.

Links to Other Web Sites

Our web site may contain links to other web sites or internet resources. By clicking a link, you are contacting another company. Shits N' Giggles has no control, responsibility or liability with regards to other companies collection and use of personal information. Individuals are encouraged to read those companies respective privacy statements.

Amendments

Shits N' Giggles may amend this document and such amendments apply to new and existing information collected.

Shipping

All purchases will be processed and shipped out within two (2) business days of verified payment unless your item is back ordered in which case, you will be notified.  *Note - Canada Post does not consider Saturday, Sunday or holidays as business days.

Failure to Deliver

If an order is undeliverable and is returned to Shits N' Giggles in good condition, you will receive a refund. If this occurs because of an error on your part, or by your unavailability, you will not be refunded the shipping costs. 

Returns

We value your business so if you're not pleased with your purchase, send it back within 15 days and we will refund your money within five (5) days from receipt (minus shipping costs).  Please Note: Items must be returned in a resalable condition.  Returns are always subject to inspection and acceptance by Shits N' Giggles. Refunds will always be made back to the original method of purchase. It is advised that you send an email to shitsngiggles.biz@gmail.com informing of the return. Notwithstanding this, the 15 day time limit will be strictly enforced.  It is your responsibility to ship an item back for refund.

Return Notification

We require the following information with your return: who is returning it, why it is being returned and the order number. The order number can be found on your Shits N' Giggles invoice viewable online. You can write this down and send with the package and/or send an email. You will be notified when Shits N' Giggles has received the item/s and completed the refund.
